Privacy policy
PDrivers is a public reference site. You can browse guides and follow official download links without an account.
Search and language
Model searches appear in the page address. They may therefore appear in your browser history and hosting access logs. Do not enter serial numbers, email addresses or other personal information into the model search.
Language is set by the page address and does not require a preference cookie. You select the computer’s OS yourself when choosing a download. Calculator inputs and troubleshooting answers stay in the current page. Download choices are sent only with voluntary feedback or if you enable anonymous usage statistics; no visitor profile is created.
Contact form
The contact form sends your topic, related page, language, message and optional reply email to the PDrivers editor only when you press Send. It is stored privately in Cloudflare KV for up to 30 days, separately from anonymous usage statistics. Message text and email addresses are not public and are not included in analytics reports. Email is optional and is used for follow-up, not marketing. Do not include passwords, serial numbers, identity documents or payment information.
Hosting and external services
Cloudflare hosts this site and may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information for delivery, security and operational logs. Following a manufacturer link sends you to that organisation’s website, which has its own privacy policy.
The “Created with Grok” link and app installation features load platform resources from Grok. Requests to that service are subject to its privacy policy.
Optional feedback and anonymous statistics
Submitting a model-page result sends the known page path, model, language, selected OS, print/scan purpose and resolved, unresolved or not-tried answer. A random event ID prevents a retry from becoming a second record. We store these records in a separate Cloudflare KV space and expire them after 30 days. They do not contain raw search terms, full URLs, referrers, IP addresses, browser details, email addresses or serial numbers. Hosting security logs are separate, as described above.
Anonymous usage statistics are off by default. The optional footer control enables counts of model views, searches, system/purpose choices and manufacturer support or file clicks. Only approved field values are sent; the search text and clicked URL are excluded. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep automatic statistics off. You can still deliberately send a result. No advertising or visitor/session ID is used.
The browser stores your statistics preference locally. Within one tab, session storage limits the same event context to a first and a repeat event; these are activity counts, not unique people or installation success rates. Preview records are separated. A saved message appears only after the server accepts your feedback. If storage is unavailable or its free quota is exhausted, the form offers a retry and downloads remain available.
Analytics and advertising
PDrivers currently does not use Google Analytics, AdSense ads or affiliate purchase tracking. If this changes, we will update this policy to identify the services and provide the required privacy and consent choices before enabling them.
Page source includes a google-adsense-account tag and the site publishes an ads.txt file. These only verify that PDrivers controls the domain for a Google AdSense account; they do not load ad code, set cookies or send your data to Google.
If Google ads are enabled later, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads, including ads based on earlier visits to this and other sites. Visitors in regions that require consent, such as the EEA, UK and Switzerland, will be asked first through a consent message. You can manage personalised advertising in Google’s ad settings.
Children
PDrivers is a general reference site for printer setup and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us a message, use the contact form so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
The date at the top of this page shows the latest update. We will revise this policy before adding analytics, advertising or other services that change how visitor data is handled.
Questions and your choices
