A compact monochrome laser for printing only. Brother lists a separate Printer Driver and a full software package for Windows.

Choose the exact Windows version on Brother’s download page. On a supported Mac, check the AirPrint instructions instead of downloading a Windows EXE.

HL-L2350DW and HL-L2395DW are different models. The latter has scanning hardware; this model does not.

Installation steps
Windows over USB
The full package asks for administrator rights and for an already connected interface cable to be disconnected before installation. Connect when prompted. On Windows 11, follow Brother’s USB preparation note: turn off “Default install printers using Windows Ready Print” only if that option is present; otherwise continue with the installer.

On the printer, open Network → WLAN → Setup Wizard and select your network. Wait for “Connected”. Then use the Windows package’s wireless setup option with a computer that can reach that network.

Brother’s download guidance for these versions recommends AirPrint. In System Settings → Printers & Scanners, add the printer; Brother’s current steps say to select the model name in Use. The wording “Use: AirPrint” belongs to its macOS 11 and earlier steps. Do not download a Windows EXE for a Mac.

USB: the computer’s test page does not print
Check the printer display for an error, connect directly to the computer, try another USB port or a cable no longer than 2 m, and select the intended HL-L2350DW queue. Follow the official checks before reinstalling. Brother’s Pause Printing / Use Printer Offline checkbox instructions apply to Windows 10 and earlier, not Windows 11.

Check the printer’s status, duplicate queues and pending jobs, then print the WLAN report if needed. Brother’s Network Connection Repair Tool can update the printer IP stored by the driver. Follow the model’s wireless troubleshooting page before reinstalling software.

The printer’s own test is Printer → Test Print → Go. If that page prints but the computer’s page does not, continue checking the computer, connection and queue. A page printed from the device panel alone does not confirm that the computer driver works.

Print a test page
Print a test page from the computer’s HL-L2350DW queue, then a document from your usual app. Check the output and duplex setting if needed. This model has no scanner; an app named iPrint&Scan does not add scanning hardware.

This is a print-only model. A full package may provide connection and setup utilities, but it does not add scanning hardware. Choose by the functions the manufacturer lists.

Open the manufacturer’s support page and look for a replacement release. If the link still appears wrong, report it using the correction link below. Avoid unofficial mirrors with similar-looking names.
